Andresna House is a true gem. I’ve stayed several times and always enjoy the beautiful lakeside setting, generous breakfasts, warm, art-filled interiors, and the warm welcome from Andy. Dog-friendly and absolutely outstanding — highly recommended!

Andy gives a most pleasant welcome on arrival and nothing is too much trouble to make your stay enjoyable. Excellent breakfast, very comfortable beds tastefully decorated and appointed rooms. Don’t let this place pass you by and of course a view to die for over the Lough.

I have stayed in Andresna House a couple of times now and each time thoroughly enjoyed it. The house has been renovated and decorated to an impressive standard. The rooms are very comfortable as well as beautiful and very clean. Breakfast is absolutely delicious and Andy is a really warm, welcoming and helpful host. Lastly - the view from every window is just gorgeous. One of my favourite guesthouses!

10/10 We stayed for one night as we were attending a wedding at nearby Kilronan Castle. Andresna is a mix of classy and contemporary. You can see the owners have put alot of thought into everything, very classy. The host was very friendly. Our room was lovely with an amazing en-suite, spotlessly clean and a fabulous view over the lake. Breakfast was delicious! For me, Andresna it a beautiful gem in fantastic setting, ran by owners who really know what they are doing. I would 100% recommend anyone to stay here.

What an amazing place. Best place I have stayed in Ireland. Andy was a very welcoming host. Great art displayed at every turn. Breakfast was amazing. View stunning. Rooms very comfortable. Had a great night sleep. Wild deer met us in the late evening. Cannot wait to get back to spend a few nights. Highly recommend.

Beautifully presented establishment with a warm and informative welcome from the host. Wonderful location in the heart of the countryside at the foot of Lake Arrow. All the rooms have been brought up to an excellent standard and taste. Breakfast was of an excellent variety and choice in a lovely conservatory setting overlooking the lake. Excellent place for your thoughts to run as wild as the deer in the surrounding land.

A warm welcome by Andy, who is eager to explain about the house, the renovations, the artwork. A project tactfully executed in a nice environment with a splendid view. We gladly confirm the excellent reviews of others. We did not have the possibility of having dinner. (But dinner at The Oarsman Gastropub can be warmly recommended). Breakfast was splendid, the offering as well as the refined and elegant way it is all laid out. All in excellent taste - a very attractive price/quality ratio. Thank you Andy.

Andresna House is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed in. The location, just on the lake, is amazing; the indoors are magnificent and every single detail has been carefully designed and the bed was very very comfy. What impressed me most was the customer service, Andy offered a warm welcome, a hipe of useful information on surrondings and cooked an amazing breakfast! Highly recommended.

My friend, little dog and I have just had the absolute pleasure of staying at Adresna House. This is a lovingly renovated beautiful house on the shores of Lough Arrow. We were hosted by the very charming owner Andy, who couldn't have been kinder in providing both insights into where to visit locally and the best breakfasts bar none, that we have ever tasted. We would highly recommend this jewel to lovers of tranquility, nature and breakfast fine dining.
