- You enjoy first-rate drinking water. It’s drawn directly from the lake at our doorstep and purified by us using reverse osmosis, with absolutely no added chemicals like chlorine. Naturally, the water is regularly tested by an independent lab.
- Every drop of wastewater leaving our property is purified by our on-site treatment facility to a crystal-clear standard before it returns to the natural cycle.
- Our drinking water, both still and sparkling, which is carbonated in-house, is served in reusable glass bottles. We have, of course, long since eliminated single-use PET bottles from our operations.
- All bathrooms are equipped with pressurised water for a high-flow experience.
- Hand soap, body wash, and shampoo are provided in high-quality refillable dispensers, significantly reducing packaging waste.
- For personal care, we offer products from the trusted FAITH-IN-NATURE brand. And this means: 100% recycled and recyclable refill containers, 100% natural origin aroma, vegan, 99% biodegradable ingredients, proudly independent, cruelty-free, and free from parabens, SLS, SLES, and silicones.
- You’ll sleep on premium box spring mattresses dressed in organic cotton bedding from the Irish family business WHITE & GREEN.
- Most of the breakfast items we serve are of carefully selected, and often organic, quality. Wherever possible, we source them locally, such as from nearby Drumanilra Organic Farm or local farmers’ markets in Carrick-on-Shannon or Boyle.
- A selection of four coffee varieties and an even wider range of exquisite teas are available around the clock, which you’re welcome to enjoy in the lounge, dining room, drawing room, or your own bedroom.
- Our walls are dedicated to art – rather than televisions. As a family with a background in gallery curation, we’re proud to share a hand-picked selection of pieces from our collection with our guests.
